Polycythemia Vera: People suffering from polycythemia also should not use Locyst as it contains vitamin B12 and it may increase the risk of blood clots in individuals with polycythemia vera.

Kidney Disease: Individuals with kidney disease should not use Locyst because it may be at increased risk for vitamin B6 toxicity.
