Curelin Capsule is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as ear, nose and throat infections, inflammation of the bronchial tubes, infection of the lungs, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted disease (gonorrhea), gynecological infections, severe blood infection (septicemia), inflammation of the abdominal wall (peritonitis), inflammation of the heart valve (endocarditis), infection of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis), enteric fever, stomach or intestinal infections. This medicine works by destroying the growth of bacteria in the body.

Bitter/metallic taste in your mouth, nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to tinidazole or other nitroimidazole derivatives.
Before taking tinidazole, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other antibiotics (such as metronidazole); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: liver disease, kidney dialysis, certain blood disorders (low blood cell counts).
For the best effect, take this antibiotic at evenly spaced times. To help you remember, take this medication at the same time(s) every day.
This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Some products that may interact with this drug include: alcohol-containing products (such as cough and cold syrups, aftershave), products containing propylene glycol, lopinavir/ritonavirsolution, lithium.
