How it works

Nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, pruritis, rash, tachycardia(rare).

Drug Interactions

At therapeutic doses, calcium dobesilate may interfere with creatinine assay by giving lower values.

Indication

Microangiopathies, in particular diabetic retinopathy. Clinical signs of chronic venous insufficiency in the lower limbs, as adjuvant in superficial thrombophlebitis. Haemorrhoidal syndrome, microcirculation disorders of arteriovenous origin.

When not to Use

Hypersensitivity towards calcium dobesilate.

Precaution

Dosage should be reduced in case of severe renal insufficiency requiring dialysis.

Warning 1

The intake of calcium dobesilate may induce agranulocytosis.

Warning 2
