Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: liver problems, other heart problems (such as sick sinus syndrome, heart block, irregular heartbeat, pacemaker use).
It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Because of the possible risk to the infant, breastfeeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
This drug may pose risks to your pregnancy, therefore please do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor first.
Medications that can affect the removal of ivabradine from your body, which may affect how ivabradine works. Examples include azole antifungals (such as itraconazole, ketoconazole), macrolide antibiotics (such as clarithromycin, telithromycin), diltiazem, HIV protease inhibitors (such as nelfinavir, ritonavir), nefazodone, rifamycins (such as rifabutin, rifampin), St. John's wort, verapamil, drugs used to treat seizures (such as carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin), among others.
