It is used to remove, soften, dry or harden ear wax.
It can cause irritation, itching.
It is contrainticated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: ear injuries/surgery.
Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: hole in the eardrum (perforated tympanic membrane).
If symptoms does not increase within 3-5 days consult with physician.

Some products that may interact with this drug are: acetazolamide, aspirin and other salicylates (such as salsalate), corticosteroids (such as prednisone), memantine, medications with a special coating to protect the stomach (enteric coating).
